  • Interesting how a "no-spend weekend" list of activities dovetails with a "reduce stress" list of activities!

  • I like to go through my digital photos, delete the duplicates and the ones that are really no good, and tag them so I can easily find the good ones when I want them. Especially the older ones!

    • @Janet Barclay: That's a good one! And with the number of photos you take, I'm sure it's a good task to tackle. But I can't imagine there'd be too many duds!

  • What a great concept of having a no-spend weekend! I can't remember the last time that happened, if at all. Partially that's because we often run a few errands on the weekend (farmer's market, dry cleaners, pharmacy.) In addition, weekends are often used for seeing friends or family, which very often involves food (cooking or going out.) So if I didn't include those types of spending, I could definitely be fine without spending money on other things. I enjoy not spending money and doing things like reading, writing, watching movies, organizing, and taking walks.

  • Sort through boxes of paper in the attic, put away outside furniture and decorations in preparation for winter, go to church, pull out dying plants from the garden, talk with my husband, bake an apple pie, watch tv, polish silver... it can be a delightfully long list! Fun topic:)
